First thing you need is a Binance account, if you don't have one, you can create it here.
Creating an API allows you to connect to Binance’s servers via several programming languages. Data can be pulled from Binance and interacted with through external applications like Cryptonovae.
For example, you can view your current wallet and transaction data, execute trades, and deposit and withdraw your funds in third-party programs.
Creating an API is a simple process that can be completed in just 5 minutes.
How to create your own Binance API?
Step 1: You will start by activating futures and margin on your API keys by following this short video tutorial:
Step 2: Log into your Binance account and click [API Management] located under the user centre icon
Step 3: Enter a label/name for your API key and click [Create API].
Security tip: Before creating an API, you need to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.
Step 4: Complete the security verification with your registered 2FA devices.
Step 5: Your API is now created. Please keep your Secret Key secure. It will not be shown again. Never share this key. If you forget your Secret Key, you will need to delete the API and create a new one.
Please take note of the IP access restrictions!
Keep in mind that only Binance account holders who have completed intermediate KYC/AML verification can create API keys.
Step 7: Paste your API keys into the Binanceconnector fields in the Cryptonovae App, and click “Accept” button.
Step 8: You’ve now connected Binance to Cryptonovae!
Step 9: Restart Cryptonovae for changes to take effect
Hooray, you connected your Binance account to CRYPTONOVAE! 🎉
