How to enable 2FA for Cryptonovae
The 2FA stands for "Two Factor Authentication" allows you to protect your account by requiring a quick renewal code available on your smartphone for every login. Without this code, no one will be able to connect to your account. We strongly recommend you to activate it on your Cryptonovae account for more security, although it is not essential for the use of the software.
Step 1: Go to cryptonovae.com and login to your account.
Step 2: Once on your Cryptonovae account go to the "security" section and under the mention "Two-Factor Auth" click on the "enable" button
Step 3: On your smartphone download one of the two applications "Twilio Authy '' or "Google Authenticator '' if you have neither.
Step 4: For a configuration with "Google Authenticator ' open your application and at the bottom right of your home screen click on the "+" button and scan the QRcode displayed on your computer.
Step 5: Once you have scanned the QRcode, make sure that an auto-renewal code is displayed in your application. If it does, press "next" on your computer screen to continue with the configuration.
Step 6: Now enter the code displayed in your application "Google Authenticator" in the boxes displayed on your computer. Then click on “verify”.
The configuration is now complete with "Google Authenticator" and your account is now protected with your two-factor authentication security!
Step 4': For a configuration with "Twilio Authy" open your application and on your home screen click on the "+ Add Account" button then on "Scan QR Code" and scan the QRcode displayed on your computer.
Step 5': Once you have scanned the QRcode, check that an auto-renewal code is displayed in your application. If it does, press "next" on your computer screen to continue with the configuration.
